The Rusty Pickups @ Tenterfield School of Arts

The Rusty Pickups are bringing their classic country-folk sound to the Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School of Arts this September — and it's going to be a very good night.

Michael, Lee, Ayden, Amily and Waylon are a Country & Americana ensemble from South East Queensland, and together they create something that feels both timeless and completely alive. River boat keys, melodic clawhammer banjo, rolling upright bass, blazing fiddle and charming acoustic guitar set the scene — and then the vocals arrive. Classic storytelling, memorable songs, and five-part harmonies that will stay with you long after you've left the building.

This is music that knows where it came from. Down home, warm, and utterly transporting.
