The Sacred Return - Cacao and Breathwork Ceremony
Description
THE SACRED RETURN
Cacao & Breathwork Ceremony - Hervey Bay
Saturday, 26 September 2026
It’s been a while Hervey Bay.
The last time I held this work here was January.
Since then, life has happened.
More time on the land.
More family.
More fire.
More ceremony.
More learning.
More remembering what this work actually means to me.
And now, after eight months away, I’m carrying the fire back to the coast.
The Sacred Return is returning to Hervey Bay.
Not because we need another thing to attend.
But because sometimes we need somewhere to put everything down for a few hours.
Somewhere to breathe.
Somewhere to feel.
Somewhere to stop holding it all together.
Somewhere to come back to ourselves.
THE EVENING
We’ll gather together with ceremonial cacao before moving into a guided breathwork journey held through music, sound, silence, presence and ceremony.
There may be stillness.
There may be emotion.
There may be laughter, tears, movement, sound or something entirely different.
There is nothing you need to manufacture.
Nothing you need to perform.
Nothing you need to become.
You meet the breath where you are.
The invitation is simply to give yourself permission to be there fully.
To release what is ready to be released.
To listen to what has been buried underneath the noise.
And perhaps remember something you already knew.
THIS IS THE WORK
For me, ceremony has never been about escaping ordinary life.
It is about returning to it differently.
More present with your family.
More honest with yourself.
More connected to your body.
More aware of what matters.
More able to hear your own voice underneath everything else.
That is why we gather.
Not to be fixed.
Not to chase some peak experience.
But to create enough space for something real to be felt.
THE SACRED RETURN
This gathering began in Hervey Bay.
These rooms, these people and this coastline were part of where I learned to hold this work.
My family and I now live on the land in Wellingrove, NSW, where much of this work continues around fire, family, breath and ceremony.
Every now and then, I carry it back.
Saturday 26 September is one of those nights.
If you’ve sat with me before, I’d love to welcome you back.
If you’ve been watching from the edges for a while, you’re welcome too.
And if something in you has simply been asking for a night to put the world down and breathe…
the door is open.
Come sit with us.
WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable clothing
Yoga mat
Blanket
Pillow
Eye mask if you like
Water bottle
Most importantly, come as you are.
No experience with breathwork, cacao or ceremony is required.

Urangan Wellness Centre - Hervey Bay
Arrive: 5:45pm
Ceremony begins: 6:00pm
Doors will close once we begin so the space can remain undisturbed.
There are only so many places in the room.
Not because I’m interested in creating urgency.
Because I want to know the names and faces of the people sitting around the fire.
If this one feels like yours,
you’re invited.
