Join us for a powerful journey of movement, meditation, and an exhilarating live ecstatic dance set – in a safe and sacred space.

We invite you to join us for the first SACRED SESSION of 2025, as we journey with the medicines of music, movement, and meditation, with the aim of lifting your spirits, embodying your vessel, putting you in touch with a higher state of consciousness, and experiencing a freedom like no other.

Before you arrive, the Medicine Wheel will be opened in the space, to set the sacred container for the journey to commence. The event will begin with a Pranayama exercise (gentle breath regulation - not the same as breathwork), suitable for beginners, to regulate your nervous system and drop you our of your mind and into your body. The word "Pranayama" comes from the Sanskrit words 'prana', meaning breath or vital energy, and 'ayama', meaning expansion, regulation, or control.

Once you are in the present moment, Angie (aka DJ AnJel) will guide you to embody the music through a live-mixed sound journey, starting in stillness, and slowly building up to catharsis, so you may experience a deep connection with your body and leave it all on the dance floor. As an experienced ecstatic dance Facilitator and DJ, Angie carefully curates each set with the intention of taking you on a journey through the elements, through your body, and through your soul, using a combination of tribal and world rhythms, organic sounds, Afrohouse, Latin house, as well as some psytrance and drum n' bass.

You will gently come back into stillness and be guided through a beautiful meditation to integrate the dance, connect with Self, and find balance, clarity, and inner peace. After the ceremony is closed, you will have the chance to stay and share your experience or any insights in circle, to journal if you wish, or just to connect with others in the group.
