The Seagull by The Ravens Theatre Company
Description
"We need the theatre, couldn't, couldn't do without it. Could we?"
The Seagull by Anton Chekhov
A revised version by Anya Reiss
Directed by Jane Montgomery Griffiths
This is your opportunity to see The Ravens Theatre Company's inaugural production!
A masterpiece of modern theatre, The Seagull explores love, ambition, artistic longing and the search for meaning. Famously unsuccessful at its 1896 Moscow premiere, it has since become one of the most iconic and influential plays ever written.
Performed by a strong ensemble of local actors, this is a fresh, intimate staging filled with humour and emotional depth.
