The Sheffield College Charity gig
Event description
The Sheffield College music department is holding 2 gigs to raise awareness and funds for Bluebell Wood.
The first gig is at the Hillsborough campus on the 13th February, and the second gig is at a Lykke restaurant, 11 New Era Square, Sheffield S2 4RB, on the 25th and 26th March.
Attendance to both gigs is free, but we welcome a donation to either the food bank in the form of tins or a donation to our JustGiving link for Bluebell Wood.
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes.
Our support services are wide-ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much more.
It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising.
