The Silent Heart of Forgiveness is an invitation to retreat from the world and take a journey into a profound place of contemplation and healing. This one-day, part-silent retreat is an opportunity to go deeper and explore the ways in which we are keeping ourselves trapped in the cycle of suffering.

To ‘forgive’ is not merely an act of pardoning others but a deep and transformative process of freeing ourselves from the burdens we carry.

Forgiveness is not about forgetting or condoning, but rather about letting go of the weight that no longer serves you. It is an act of self-compassion, a recognition that holding on to past pain only holds us back from living fully and freely.

Our day together will unfold gently, transitioning into sacred personal silence, whilst experiencing and embodying the yogic teachings physically, energetically and emotionally.

  • Welcome circle, intention setting and moving into silent contemplation.
  • Breathwork will be our guide, to release tension, open the heart, and remove stagnation and old beliefs from the body, mind and energy field.
  • Movement will help us embody the process of forgiveness, connecting movement with the flow of breath, creating openness in both body and mind.
  • Journaling & flash writing will provide a space to reflect on the stories we carry, allowing us to identify and release patterns of negative internal dialogue, blame and shame
  • Meditation will be a time to sit with ourselves in stillness, offering love and forgiveness to the parts of us that need healing and offering that out into the world.
  • Contemplation throughout the day will invite you to observe old wounds with fresh eyes, and gently let go of the self-judgment, regret, and guilt that may be holding you back, exploring the act of forgiveness to all those you believe have caused you to suffer.
  • Guided forgiveness practices across different traditions and according to yogic philosophy.
  • Time to embody and relax into a new sense of being.

You will leave with a new sense of perspective, release and lightness that comes from opening your heart to forgive. 

A delicious vegetarian/gluten-free lunch is included.
