The SisterWorks Refugee Week Fundraising Gala

Support SisterWorks' vision that all migrant, refugee, and asylum seeker women are economically empowered and help us celebrate our good work on Saturday 18 June at the Immigration Museum in Melbourne.
SisterWorks’ Gala will take place on the eve of Refugee Week – a national celebration of the positive contributions made by refugees to Australian society.
We hope that you join us for an unforgettable evening of diversity and enrichment. Be greeted by an Indonesian Gamelan orchestra and enjoy drinks and canapés in the museum’s reimagining of Old Customs House, one of Melbourne’s most significant 19th century buildings.
Your ticket includes:
- open bar providing beer, wine, and champagne
- variety of canapés served throughout the evening
- keynote speakers supporting refugee, migrant, and asylum-seeking women
- the chance to bid on SisterWorks’ unique silent auction before and during the eventÂ
- funds that will help SisterWorks provide life-changing education, training, and pre-employment programs to refugee, migrant, and asylum-seeker womenÂ
- opportunities to connect with the women who have participated in these programs to learn new social and vocational skills and improve their economic outlook
Dress code: Cocktail attire or traditional cultural dress.
Doors open: 6:30pm. Guests can enter via the venue's entrance on Market Street.Â

Ticket cost: $220 (includes GST) + $ 6 booking fee.
