The exhibition unfolds in two distinct spaces:
The Introductory Gallery
An introductory space that provides an informative tour of the history, architecture and purpose of the Sistine Chapel from its construction in the 15th century to its role in papal conclaves, and the tourist attraction it is today. Discover the Chapel’s enduring global and cultural significance, and explore the Renaissance world that shaped its creation: The artistic genius of Michelangelo and the other masters who painted its famous frescoes, and the stories depicted across the ceiling, walls, and iconic The Last Judgement.
The Immersive Projection Chamber
Be immersed in a spectacular, large-scale digital recreation of the Sistine Chapel interior. Using ultra-high-resolution images from the Vatican Museums’ archives, the exhibition allows visitors to see details invisible to the naked eye – brushstrokes, expressions, colour and narrative – accompanied by curated audio and interpretive storytelling.

- Is the venue accessible?
Yes! The temporary exhibition structure is designed to be fully accessible.
- What if I am running late for my session?
Be aware that lock out periods will be operating. Venue staff will do their best to permit entry after your designated entry time, however full lock out will occur at 20 minutes. After this time, we will do our best to accommodate you in the next available session, however if sold out your ticket may be forfeited.
- How long can you stay inside the exhibition?
Each ticket gives you 60 minutes inside the Sistine Chapel: Revelations exhibition. The introductory rooms feature a chronological timeline of the Sistine Chapel's architecture and historical moments accompanied by artifacts and photographs, providing context to the artworks. During your 60 minutes you will experience a 30 minute immersive experience, utilising 360-degree projections and spatial audio to bring the frescos to life, allowing visitors to feel immersed in the artwork's history and stories.
- How long does the exhibition take?
Allow approximately 60 minutes for your visit.
- Can I come and go during my session time?
There are no pass outs. You can leave the exhibition at any point, however if you do choose to leave, you will not be admitted back in.

Yes. The exhibition is presented with the express permission of the Vatican Museums, using authorised high-resolution imagery from their archives.
- Is this a religious service?
No. This is a public cultural exhibition. While the artwork originates from a sacred setting, the experience is designed for a broad audience and presented in an accessible, educational format.
- Is photography permitted?
Audiences are encouraged to keep their phones away in order to fully appreciate the exhibition and be truly open to the experience on offer.
- Is it cheaper to attend as a group?
Yes. Special rates are available if attending as a family ie. a family pack of 2x adults and 2x children.
- Is there a cloak room?
Unfortunately not.
- Can I bring a pram?
Prams will be subject to security checks. Please only bring if necessary.
