The Specialties

The Specialties have been captivating audiences across the East Coast with their electrifying performances. Despite their relatively short career, they’ve already received eight nominations in the past two years, including Favourite Blues Band and Favourite Emerging Act at the Sydney Blues Society Awards.

With a unique spin on classic Blues, Jazz, Rockabilly, and Soul, the band features some of Sydney’s finest musicians. At the forefront is Shannon Carswell, whose exceptional voice is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in the country.

In just under two years, The Specialties have quickly risen to prominence, performing at the Kiama Jazz and Blues Festival as well as the House of Blues Festival in Coffs Harbour for the last two years as well as the Blues & Brews Festival in Bulli and the International Blues Day in Canberra as well as supporting some of the nation’s top acts. We just performed at this year's announced on next year's Girrakool Blues Festival on the Central Coast.
