The Spectacle has been created by runners, for all runners.

Our vision is to create a high-energy running event at the heart of Whakatu - Nelson. Whether you’re new to running or have thousands of kms in your legs, prefer the roads or the trails, prefer the mile or the 100 mile, we have a race for you.

And we’re pulling out all the stops to make The Spectacle an event to remember. We’ve gathered some of the world’s finest milers for the elite mile, creating a spectacle rarely witnessed — a chance to watch the best of the best race the streets of Nelson. And to finish off the weekend, we're putting on a free concert right in the heart of the CBD. The Spectacle is an opportunity not to be missed.
