The Stingy Mama Movie Fundraiser

Hi! I'm Christina from The Stingy Mama. I'm a mama and teacher who has taught many students over the years who are currently in Foster care and/or have been placed in emergency care at some stage in their lives. When this happens, especially when it is sudden, children are often not able to bring any personal belongings to take with them. This is where Backpacks 4 VIC kids comes in. To quote from their website: 

"Our purpose is to aid displaced children by providing the essentials needed most urgently, long before any arrangements have been made to further support them.  Often children are placed quickly into foster or kinship care, for example, without much more than what they are wearing at the time. We provide displaced children with a few essential items to help resource them, restoring dignity, self-worth, and to show them someone cares". 

The money raised from this fundraiser will go straight to Backpacks 4 VIC kids so they can continue their essential work. 

So what does your ticket include?

• a ticket to see new release Black Panther: Wakanda Forever the week it comes out 
• a small combo (soft drink or water and small popcorn)
• a gift bag (with many amazing Victorian small businesses contributing)
• a warm and fuzzy feeling that you're helping raise money for a good cause

Note: these cinemas are amazing! All the seats are leather and recline so you get that "Gold Class" experience
