The Story of Pipik
Event description
Way before the days of A.I., writer, performer, Sheldon Lieberman and Illustrator, animator Igor Coric decided to embark on the harrowing challenge of creating 52 animated shorts in 52 weeks. All improvised.
What was produced was hilarious, often dark, catchy, simple, crazed, exposing and raw.
Sheldon will be telling the story, screening some of his favourites, and performing songs from the animations. All leading to 'Pipik' the one that randomly made a fortune.
Passionate luck? Divine intervention. The result of hard work? Hopefully the audience can work it out.
Sheldon's been called 'the strangest and most absurdist thing ever to hit the Tivoli' by Scenstr.
With Igor, he's won best animation at Tropfest, Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival and Melbourne Webfest, and screened at Ottawa, London, Stuttgart and NZ International Animation Festivals.
Adult themes so suggest 18+. This will be fun, inspiring and the sort of weird you don't often see in Mullum.
