The Story of Pipik

Sheldon has made hundreds of short animations. Most with his collaborator, illustrator and animator, Igor. Each represents different parts of his personality, from the fun and light to the deep dark shadows. Quirky, abstract and sometimes just plain weird.

Many have screened at some of the biggest animation festivals around the world. Most have a very small cult following and go pretty much unseen. And none of them made a cent. Until... Pipik.

This is a story of random luck or divine intervention, maybe even selling out?

'The Story of Pipik' is a one man show that is all about expressing yourself without fear of judgement. It also examines the relationship between art and money, telling the story using anecdotes, live music and animation.

Sheldon's been called 'the strangest and most absurdist thing ever to hit the Tivoli' by Scenstr.

With Igor, he's won best animation at Tropfest, Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival and Melbourne Webfest, and screened at Ottawa, London, Stuttgart and NZ International Animation Festivals.
