A subtle system tune up.

Let's go on a practical journey into the body through the chakras.

The chakras offer us a map of the subtle system: a traditional yogic framework for exploring different aspects of our physical, emotional and inner experience.

Rather than approaching the chakras as an abstract or mystical theory, this seven-week Kundalini Yoga series is about experiencing them through the body.

Each week, we’ll explore one chakra from root to crown, looking at its relationship with the physical body, the organs and systems traditionally associated with it, and the emotional themes connected to that centre.

Through kriya (dynamic movement), breath, meditation and mantra, we’ll put the theory into practice and begin to notice how these different aspects of ourselves show up in our own experience.

Across the seven weeks, we’ll explore:

• Week 1: Root ✦ foundations, stability + belonging
• Week 2: Sacral ✦ creativity, sensuality + feeling
• Week 3: Solar Plexus ✦ confidence, action + personal power
• Week 4: Heart ✦ compassion, connection + openness
• Week 5: Throat ✦ expression, communication + truth
• Week 6: Third Eye ✦ intuition, perception + inner listening
• Week 7: Crown ✦ connection, consciousness + meaning

This course is an invitation to know your own system more deeply... to become curious about where you feel strong, where you feel stuck, and how practices of movement, breath and meditation can help create greater awareness and flow of your energy.

No previous yoga experience or knowledge of the chakras is needed.

Come curious. This is an embodied experience.

Props are provided but feel free to bring your own, and a bottle of water.

Online:

Find a comfy quiet space in your home with a yoga mat, blanket and cushion, and a device for Zoom.
