The Sudbury Devil @ Coolidge Corner Theater

Atun Shei Films presents THE SUDBURY DEVIL, playing at the Coolidge Corner Theater for one night only. This is the first public screening of the film following its Salem, MA premiere. 

The director and members of the cast and crew will be in attendance for a short Q&A session after the film!

In the late 17th century, two Puritan witch hunters travel to a small Massachusetts town investigating rumors of devil worship, and are irrevocably transformed by the ungodly forces they encounter. At once both a no-holds-barred folk horror gem and a mischievous indictment of America's foundational rot, THE SUDBURY DEVIL is a seductively fun bit of witchery. Fully immersive to history, it can boast of being the first film ever made to feature actors speaking in period-correct 17th century accents.

There will be no trailers or previews preceding the screening. The film will start promptly at 7:30 PM.
