    THE SUN BEARS are BACK!

A SunBear is equally happy, delicately eating a coconut or savagely taking on a tiger. The boys in the band relate to that on every level.

2022 was the year of The SunBear. The band opened for Suzie Quatro at The Enmore Theatre, were voted by the members of the Sydney Blues Society as favourite blues ‘Emerging Artist 2022’, played numerous festivals around the country, achieved a #1 hit with their latest single ‘Naughty Boy’ and to top it off locked down a European Tour in 2023.

With a huge sound that blends a fistful of George Thorogood passion, a crunch of AC/DC rawness and a sprinkling of John Mayer soul. The SunBears are like a a mentos mint shoved in a coke bottle, ready to explode in all the right ways!  Each show is a fully immersive, energetic and original contemporary blues rock rodeo of sound!

After retuning from playing killer shows in Europe in 2019 the boys kicked into top gear in 2020 taking their high energy original contemporary blues sound all over Australia, supporting the release of their debut single “Set Fire To My Heart”.  The single reached the semi-finalist level of the International Songwriting Competition and is still played on digital radio and playlists around the globe.

Sweating like maniacs as they perform each song with their hearts out for all to see, The SunBears are not just another blues band…they will entertain you, make you move and most definitely make you love the blues!

The SunBears are:  CC Hall - Gtr/Vox, Dylan Harding - Drums, Dylan Harding - Drums, Craig Marshalsey - Bass

    SUPPORT ACT
    TONY JAGGERS
Tony Jaggers has been performing professionally since the age of 16 years
when his band Generation toured Northern NSW supporting bands such as The La De Das, Normie Rowe, Valentines, Flying Circus and many others. A move to the South Coast saw the formation of several other bands that  played regularly in our local area serving up a heady mix of the rock and blues of the 70s and eighties in Pubs and clubs along the coast. Came the nineties and Jaggers turned to solo performances heavily influenced by his love for the Blues and peppered with his original compositions. This period saw him grace the stages as far a field as York St Club in Sydney, Canberra Press Club and most clubs and pubs down as far as Eden. During this time he supported acts such as Angels, Rose Tattoo, GangGajang, Dutch Tilders and many more. He also performed at most major Festivals such as Great Southern Blues Festival in Narooma, Blues on Broadbeach (QLD) Tumba Fest and Thredbo Blues Festival. He has performed onstage with Phil Manning, Chain, Kevin Borich Express, Mark Easton and more. These days Jaggers tends to play closer to home and choose gigs that give total satisfaction to his musical style…..Wineries, Breweries and places where the audience is actually listening most recently a support spot for the Black Sorrows at Tilba Winery. Retirement from music is not an option for Tony and he vows to continue while ever there is appreciation for his music
