The Swedish Magazines - Best of Album launch, supported by Leadfinger 

The Swedish Magazines, described by the godfather of everything that's pure and dangerous in rock'n'roll, Kim Salmon, as "oozing in i's rawest, most primal form" and esteemed music writer Patrick Emery as "like that classic brand of footy the punters love and the league is hellbent on eradicating, The Swedes play it hard, rough but straight at the ball." Sound descriptions. Formed by Junkyard royalty Van and Cal Walker in the early 2000's, the original band have reformed with the release of I WISH LIFE COULD BE: THE BEST OF THE SWEDISH MAGAZINES on Rubber Records and a new full-length original album to follow. Raucous, rambunctious, beautiful. Get out in force Junkyard and support the Walker brothers. They are family, after all.
