Let's be honest... most of us either got no sex education at all, or sat through one painfully awkward class in school, probably involving a banana...

No one teaches us how to navigate desire, relationships, pleasure, communication, dating, mismatched libidos, body image, or all the other things that actually shape our lives. These conversations are still so taboo, which means we're missing out on a heap of genuinely fascinating (and incredibly useful) information.

Claire Diaz is a certified sexologist, somatic sexuality coach and psychotherapist-in-training. She works with clients one-on-one, facilitates workshops, retreats and live events, all with one mission: to dismantle sexual shame, break down taboos, and help people feel more liberated, empowered and at home in their bodies.

Equal parts educator and performer, Claire is known for making the "awkward" feel surprisingly normal. Her events are evidence-based, playful and refreshingly down-to-earth, creating spaces where people can laugh, learn and have the kinds of conversations we should have been having all along.

Claire Diaz is a sexologist, psychotherapist-in-training, relationship coach, educator, speaker, and facilitator dedicated to helping people cultivate more fulfilling relationships with themselves, their bodies, and others.

With a Graduate Diploma in Sexology from Curtin University, certification as a Sex and Relationship Coach through the Somatica Institute (USA), and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne, Claire combines evidence-based education with a warm, engaging, and deeply human approach. She is currently completing her Master's degree in Psychotherapy, further expanding her expertise in mental health, relationships, and human connection.

Claire is the creator and host of The Sweet Spot, a live event series that brings together experts, performers, and curious minds for bold, insightful, and engaging conversations about sexuality, relationships, and pleasure. Through this platform, she is helping make conversations about sex more accessible, informed, and free from shame.

A sought-after speaker and facilitator, Claire has presented workshops and experiences at festivals, retreats, and community events across Australia, including Spirit of Love Festival, Confest, Eclectica Hub, and the Coming Home Retreat. She has also shared her expertise as a guest on Triple J's The Hook Up, Australia's leading podcast on sex and relationships, and as a presenter at Nerd Nite, where experts take the stage to make fascinating topics accessible, entertaining, and thought-provoking.

Known for her engaging facilitation style, Claire blends science, psychology, embodiment practices, and real-world relationship skills to create experiences that are educational, transformative, and genuinely enjoyable. Her work invites people to explore sexuality and intimacy with greater confidence, self-awareness, and compassion.

Passionate about breaking down the taboo surrounding sex, Claire is on a mission to help people reconnect with their authentic selves, deepen intimacy, experience more pleasure, and create relationships built on honesty, connection, and mutual understanding.
