The Swell Sessions at Torquay Surf Life Saving Club - Mar 14 (18+)
Description
The Swell Sessions at Torquay SLSC 2026
Raising funds and awareness for safe beaches
The return of this exciting series will feature some of Australia’s best bands and a swag of local artists, performing where the surf meets the sound. It’s not just about music; it's a celebration of everything that makes Torquay unique, from our coastal lifestyle to the vital lifesaving services that keep our beaches safe.
Join us as we celebrate the surf and support the lifesaving efforts that protect our coastline. Come for the music, stay for the culture, and be part of a legacy that protects and celebrates our coastline for generations to come.
Targeted as our heavier month, Sydney’s C.O.F.F.I.N deliver blistering, high-octane rock ’n’ roll with a ferocity that has cemented them as one of Australia’s most exhilarating live bands. They’re joined by Mini Skirt, who will bring their trademark blend of sharp-witted lyricism and gritty pub-punk energy.
High-energy Australian punk and blues-influenced indie rock trio The Vasco Era are on board.
Melbourne’s Public Figures channel punchy post-punk and indie grit, delivering hook-laden tracks that balance urgency and swagger. Rising quickly through the ranks, they’re a band with something to say, and the firepower to back it up having just supported Amyl & The Sniffers at Fed Square. Plus Special Guest, formed in Geelong and not your run-of-the-mill post-punk band.
Rounding out the lineup are locals Inked Factor fresh from one of their well known generator sessions, and the genre blending Strange Unit and LIVE DJs!
Six band plus DJs = mini festival with a heart!
