Nick Forster, the founder and CEO of eTown, a member of the award-winning band Hot Rize, and a true Boulder icon, brings his signature warmth and insight to The Talk of Our Town. This series invites notable guests to dive deep into the people, culture and stories that have made Boulder the city that it is today.

This month, The Talk of Our Town brings together two people who have made a HUGE impact on Boulder: Frank Shorter and Steve Bosley, co-founders of the BOLDERBoulder. Steve, as you may know, is celebrated for his long career in banking and leadership at CU, but especially for being the founder of the BOLDERBoulder, one of the largest and perhaps the best 10K race in America. Olympic Gold medalist, Frank Shorter, is often credited with launching the American running craze after his early success at the collegiate and professional levels.

These two legends will be in town for the 2025 BOLDERBoulder, and we are so fortunate, and honored, to be able to bring them together to share their stories about their lives and the history of our local treasure, the BOLDERBoulder.

At eTown's Talk of Our Town events, you’ll connect with new and veteran Boulderites, so plan to come early and stay late to mix and mingle in the eTown cafe. The eTown cafe offers a variety of beers, wines, cocktails, and tasty sweet and savory bites.

Tickets are only $15.

Whether you just moved to Boulder or have seen all the changes that have come our way, The Talk of Our Town is a great way to connect with fellow Boulderites and dive into the city’s unique culture and history.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the conversation beginning at 7 p.m.

With every eTown ticket purchase, you're supporting the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. eTown donates $1 per ticket to Conscious Alliance, aiding hunger relief, youth programs and sustainable solutions for the Oglala Lakota Nation.
