‘Tony Chestnut is one of the most entertaining, captivating and memorable comedy characters performing in New Zealand today. Tony always brings high energy and skilled audience engagement, no matter the size of the crowd. Always funny, always original and always an engrossing centrepiece in any show, greenroom, or event. ‘ A sharply observed and hilarious poke at the gender gap that leaves you laughing along and feeling completely safe -or just uncomfortable enough to laugh at oneself.’

‘Tony Chestnut is a revelation! He’s your average kiwi bloke, a friend of Fred Dagg, but he’s liberated and simply charming! He’s camp as all heck, a real (Polar) Bear of a man. He always entertains, delights and inspires.’

Carina Nebula:

Carina Nebula is a rising intergalactic starlet based in Ōtautahi Christchurch. She was born out of Showbiz’s production of Kinky Boots (2024) as the Angel swing and is currently one of the co-hosts of Planet: DRAG at Little Andromeda alongside local legend Tony Chestnut. She also recently made the top 6 of Palmy Drag Fest’s international competition; Dragstars. She’s campy yet glamorous and one to watch out for, with a Bachelor of music theatre, and a garment steamer at her disposal, she is ready to take on Ōtautahi and the world!

Audience Quotes:

“Fantastic! Watching her always brightens my week and makes me laugh embarrassingly loud!”

“Drag is a spectacular thing because of its versatility. Kings and Queens can command an audience to laugh, cry, dance or leave them shocked. Carina Nebula is a well versed Queen that knows how to provide entertainment. Typically people either have to be beautiful or talented at something and it’s a special thing when someone has both. Carina is THAT Queen!”

“Stunningly talented, sings beautifully, tap dances, dry wit, fabulous wigs, makeup and frocks!”

“The series of Planet DRAG have genuinely been some of the best shows I have ever been to, it’s so amazing to have a range of local performers and the energy is always amazing!”

“The definition of a superstar! Stage presence, glamour and vocals! What’s not to love?!”

Alexis Stoned:

Alexis Stoned is a high voltage drag artist celebrated for her bold aesthetic, throwback Y2K glam, and unapologetically unfiltered stage presence. Serving 2000s pop fantasy with a stoner chic twist, Alexis brings a signature mix of beauty, comedy, and chaotic charm to every performance  all wrapped in a sparkle that’s unmistakably hers.

Known across Aotearoa as the Dancing Diva of New Zealand, Alexis is a true live wire on stage. She’s famous for her explosive high energy numbers, jaw dropping flips, dips, and splits, and the ability to ignite a crowd within seconds. When Alexis performs, she doesn’t just take the stage she takes over, delivering movement, personality, and electricity from the first beat to the last. However, behind the glam and the glitter is a proud trans performer with a heart just as big as her hair. Alexis celebrates queer joy, trans pride, and unfiltered authenticity everywhere she goes, embodying a Bratz bimbo fantasy with a message that’s powerful, fun, and fiercely uplifting.

Throughout her career, she has shared the spotlight with Drag Race royalty including Kita Mean (Down Under Season 1 winner), Rita Menu, Yuri Guaii, Anita Wigl’it, and more  shining just as bright among legends as she does on her own.

High energy, high impact, and high glam, Alexis Stoned is the performer you feel the moment she hits the stage and the one you’ll be talking about long after the lights go down.

Adam Straddle:

Adam Straddle has been charming Ōtautahi with his cheeky smile and obliging manner. He made his debut onto the scene by winning 2024's one for the bebz crown and has been a self proclaimed king about town ever since. He can be found performing at venues such as the Darkroom, Rolling Stone, Galaxy Bar and of course Little Andromeda. He's cute, he's flirty and if you're lucky will shmooze you with his delightful singing.

Out of drag Adam is 1/4th of gaRAGE punk band Sentient Mud as the endlessly energetic lead singer and occasional bass player.
