Event description

The Tempests

Vocalists Jade Eru and Lynley Christoffersen weave vocal magic born from a shared experience and bond that only comes from years of singing together to create a sound greater than the sum of its parts.

Soulful, sweet harmonies skillfully backed by a band of accomplished yet understated musicians.

Drummer Richard Te One, bassist Miklin Halstead, guitarists Chris Armour and Rob Matthews form the backbone of The Tempests. Drawing from a deep well of musical knowledge and influences, their supportive and tenacious musicianship help to swell the sound of the Tempests and serve the song.

The Tempests have crafted timeless melodies and emotionally rich songs into vivid aural tapestries.

Hamish Graham.

Hamish has often been found on a baritone guitar with Wellington stalwarts Hobnail, or fronting his own cello-pop ensemble, Milkthistle.

Hamish brings his distinctive take on the world around us with lush and lively approaches to well-crafted songs that follow an arc of experiences and emotions.
