Event description

The Temple. This is a women's only somatic dance journey.

A space to drop into the sacred temple of your body. A ritual space of the feminine. Worship of self.

We will dance for the love of our feminine selves, to embrace our bodies with love and tenderness.

•••••••

These monthly women's only somatic dances allows us the space and time to drop into the multidimensional aspects of the feminine.

A temple space. Thousands of years ago we gathered as priestesses, in the sacred temples, as we explored our sexuality, sensuality, wildness, and connection to the goddess.

In these dance, we will dance with the different facets of self and come out the other side more empowered, free, and in our sensual selves.

•••••

We will begin in circle, finding the possibility of safety in the group. Followed by journaling & ceremony. And then a guided somatic dance.

Testimonials:

'I just wanted to say it made me feel realise the extent of my internal strength, and how much power I hold... and comparatively, how small I make myself in my day to day life. Thank you for guiding me to this realisation. TIME TO TAKE UP SPACE. '

"I have been so grounded in my beautiful body today and the connected sensation has stayed with me. Loved our evening together. Even the simplest of gestures by everyone to make space for each woman as she joined the circle was profound last night. Women are amazing. Thank you. 🌸 🧡🌙"

What is somatic dance:

A space to gather and reclaim the joy and release of dancing in a non-judgmental space.

The recipe is simple: No booze, no shoes, great music, and an epic tribe come together to dance. Don't worry about steps or form or how you look, it's not that kind of dance.

Our dance is one that throws the rule books away and instead encourages you to release to the music and let go of that pesky judging mind.

When we step on the dance floor, we include our whole selves, even the frightened parts that want to hide. We dance through pain and sorrow. We dance with joy until our hard edges soften and our masks fall away.

We meet other courageous dancers, weaving unbreakable threads of connection. our friendships transcend the boundaries of time and space. and it all melts together–beat, movement, breath–into a swirling vortex we call community.

As the throbbing pulse of the dance floor matches our own heartbeat, we know, without a doubt, we are not alone.

WE HAVE COME TO BE DANCED.
