The Ten Minute Writer (for adults!)
Description
A workshop for adults designed to build confidence in writers at all levels. Take part in a series of short, focused writing exercises that help you get words on the page quickly - no overthinking required. Each activity is designed to break through procrastination, showing you how to start writing even when you don’t feel ready.
You’ll explore different styles and prompts, experiment with ideas, and discover that you can produce meaningful, engaging writing in just minutes. By the end of the session, you’ll have created three short pieces. Whether you’re new to writing or returning after a break, this session will leave you feeling motivated, capable, and ready to begin.

Presenter: Michele Clark McConnochie
Michele Clark McConnochie is a Welsh children's author and creative writing teacher living and working in Christchurch. She holds a Masters in Creative Practice, has been reviewed by Publishers Weekly and is the author of the Sabarina Summers and Eli Ants-in-his-Pants books. If you can't find her, she'll be writing with her two rescue cats for company.
