Event description

The Thought Workshop: Part IV

Ancient Philosophy Series for Home-Educated Teens

Join us as we get into the weeds with some of the most foundational texts of Western Thought. See how the phenomenal thinkers of Ancient Greece and their ideas shaped our understanding of the world, ethics, the nature of reality, and the human condition today.

Morning Session: Ancient Texts and Ideas

We will delve into texts that capture the ideas and philosophies of the most influential Ancient Greek philosophers Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and the Neo-Platonists.

Afternoon Session: Interactive Discussions

After lunch, we will discuss the ideas emerging from these texts, with an aim to stimulate and enhance critical and creative thinking. Students will be encouraged to express diverse viewpoints, fostering a spirit of inquiry and independent thought.
