    Event description

Santa Maria College Presents The Three Musketeers By Alexandre Dumas. Adapted for the stage by Andy Fraser.

This contemporary adaption of the classic tale of The Three Musketeers was commissioned by Santa Maria College in 2019. Just like the original, our story is set in France 1625 and has all the main characters, however Athos, Porthos, Aramis and D’Artagnan are women! No one knows when or why the regiment began admitting women but the result is they have to work harder and be better than their male counterparts to be taken seriously. We meet strong women trying to make their way in a patriarchal society; they know who they are, where they have come from and do not deny their femininity.

This production is full of swashbuckling excitement, intrigue and energy and we can’t wait to perform for you under the stars at the College.

All for one and one for all!

Unallocated seating.  Some seats may have restricted viewing.

    Performance commences at 7.00pm.
