The Threepenny Opera is a darkly comic work that explores the dark side of society, telling a story of love, betrayal, and resilience in the turbulent world were capitalism wins over the poor. Featuring memorable characters, infectious music, and clever social critique, it is a play with music that both entertains and challenges viewers. This version of the play is produced and lead by a Hunter Student! Using the book and lyrics of Bertolt Brecht and music by Kurt Weill.
