The Threshold
Event description
The Threshold: An Inner Child Healing Circle for Women
A monthly in-person group for women ready to explore how childhood experiences still shape their adult lives. An opportunity to begin to build new tools for self-support, resilience, and connection.
About This Event
Many women carry quiet wounds from childhood. Patterns of people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, self-sabotage, or never quite feeling “enough.” These patterns often resurface in relationships, work, and daily life, leaving us confused, ashamed, or stuck.
The Threshold is a therapist-led monthly circle designed to offer women a safe and supportive space to begin exploring these younger parts of themselves. Together, we’ll use gentle reflections, creative exercises, and group connection to:
Notice how your younger self still shapes your choices today.
Develop emotional tools to sit with difficult feelings.
Explore healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Begin softening shame, judgement, and self-criticism.
Connect with other women who “get it” but without the small talk and pressure.
What to Expect
Each 2-hour session includes:
Grounding Practices – to arrive and feel safe.
Themed Exploration – focusing on a key inner child theme each month.
Creative Reflection – journaling, gentle movement, or symbolic objects (like the Cabbage Patch dolls we’ll sometimes use for play and perspective).
Optional Sharing – opportunities to speak, but never pressure.
Take-Home Practices – small tools to integrate between sessions.
This isn’t therapy. It’s a soft place to land. A space to begin gently.
Who Is This For?
This group is for women who:
Sense that childhood experiences still echo into their present.
Feel stuck in old patterns and long for change.
Want to build resilience and emotional capacity without diving straight into therapy.
Crave real conversations and connection beyond surface-level small talk.
