Event description

The rumours are true! The Rachel Baker Rainbow Rumble is back and better than ever in 2025.

As part of our huge Tie Dye Project weekend at Heffron Park, we are hosting our second annual mixed netball carnival: THE RACHEL BAKER RAINBOW RUMBLE 2.0. The carnival will include 2-point shots from the "Rainbow Range" and a chance to reignite last year's rivalries.

The carnival will run from 9am-12pm on SUNDAY 23th NOVEMBER at Heffron Park Netball Courts, with a pre-tournament briefing at 8.45am and group warm off starting at 9am. Participants and supporters are encouraged to stick around to join the Tie Dye Project's annual Community Day during and after the event.

There is only 1 division this year. If you could please provide an accurate description of your team's playing ability when you register, this will help us make sure the draw is evenly matched and ensure the games are fun for all.

The carnival costs $300 for a team of 10 people. Teams can also purchase a set of Tie Dye Project bibs to wear on the day and keep for the discounted price of $100. There will be prizes for winning teams.

New additions for this year:

  1. Special addition Gilbert x The Tie Dye Project netballs ($45 match ball; $30 training ball)

  2. YS Physiotherapy (Yves Silveira) will be on hand for all your physio needs, make a donation to have your ankles/knees/shoulders/entire body taped!

  3. A slightly different structure to the event, including group warm up and games.

This registration will be for TEAM CAPTAINS ONLY. Carnival places are limited so register now!

100% of profits from clinics will be donated to sarcoma related research and clinical trials. Read more about the work the Tie Dye Project is supporting here: https://www.thetiedyeproject.c....

The carnival is named the "Rachel Baker Rainbow Rumble" in memory of the late Rachel Baker whose family are important members of our Tie Dye Project family, and who continue to support the efforts of the Tie Dye Project.

By participating in the gala day, participants acknowledge they do so at their own risk. The Tie Dye Project is not liable for any injuries or incidents that may occur during the event.
