The Trade Up Byron Bay

HELPING SURF TRADIES NAIL CLIMATE CHANGE.

Construction accounts for 30% of global carbon emissions and the Trade Up is our way to help tradespeople who love surfing do something about climate change at work.

Join us for a fun and relaxed educational series of briefings about the role tradies can play in addressing climate change, green building inspiration, how to go carbon neutral at work, as well as learning about embodied carbon in materials and simple ways that you can reduce environmental impact for clients.

Each Trade Up event is the beginning of a ride for surf tradies that includes: understanding how they as surfers can be involved in protecting their beaches from climate change, better building, and a few beers after work. 

Attendees will receive access to resources they can refer to later, connection to a community of other tradies wanting to green up their work and contribute to climate action through construction, and a few goodies from a few of our sponsors.

Tickets are $50 and include: snacks, educational resources, a goodie bag from our sponsors Stone and Wood, Patagonia, and Single-O-Coffee and a beer on us.
