The Unfurling
Event description
Join with beloved tribe for a night at "The Unfurling", a night and morning on the land, under the stars, connecting with self and other to open, share, connect, love, dream.
After arriving at 5pm on the Saturday, we will dine together then once our dinner settles, we will drink some heart-opening cacao. Before we start dancing and moving we will do some fun and insightful intimacy practices many of us have grown to love! Once we feel Mamma Cacao opening our hearts, we will allow our bodies to be moved during an ecstatic dance session.
After that, (weather permitting) a fire under the stars and time for stories of the heart. An opportunity to pull up a chair and plant your feet on the earth, sitting back and taking it all in, allowing the flames to mesmerise you. Some of us may offer a song, others a story, or we'll just have a yarn by Father Fire as we toast our marshmallows. We can also have a dip in the chlorine-free pool so bring your swimmers!
Slumber will be together in the divine temple (included in your ticket price) or in bedrooms (at a little extra cost) for those who prefer. It's beautiful to dream together through the night where possible.
After a sound night's sleep, you will be met by a warm vegan breakfast followed by a powerful yin breathwork practice. For those of you who have breathed with me, you know you are in for quite the treat! Those new to it, you're in for a surprise! This type of breathwork releases DMT in your brain, the chemical said to be released at birth and death. This enables us to embark on a unique journey where our state of consciousness is altered. In some ways, it's like dreaming whilst awake, and anything is possible. Some report past life experiences, reliving births (your own and your children's), letting go of trauma and pain, and feeling ecstasy and joy...and everything in between! Breathwork allows us to release toxins and feel whatever it is we need to heal. It is great for your wellbeing, oxygenating every cell in your body and allowing healing and growth. It is fully facilitated so if you are new to this practice, that's ok!
We will close the event with a sharing circle where you are invited to share "the gold" from your breathwork journey, and whatever needs to be spoken in your heart. Hugs and goodbyes ensue, followed by a slow & gentle departure from the venue, home in time to prepare for the week ahead.
Cost includes accomodation (sleeping in the temple), 2 meals, ceremonial cacao, ecstatic dance, breathwork and sharing circle. If you would like to sleep in a shared bedroom, please reach out and check availability via 0406 502 715 - this will cost an additional $35.00
NB for the benefit of all, those who snore will need to sleep in a room at the cost of $35 We hope you understand our need to take care of everyone sleeping communally so that no one is kept awake all night by snorers. There’s no need for shame - I (Gypsy) snore (sometimes) too and will thus be isolated too!
To jump in, pls pay a non refundable deposit of $50 with the balance preferably being paid upon arrival at the retreat centre.
