Facilitating success for diverse HDR students: Strategies to encourage and support a diverse HDR cohort.
There is a growing body of research reporting on the wellbeing of higher degree research (HDR) students, and the challenges faced by diverse students in pursuing higher degrees by research. In this session we will explore some of the issues, and workshop approaches to increase inclusivity awareness, support diverse students, and facilitate success for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and supervisors. All current and potential HDR supervisors are encouraged to attend.
