Hi my name is Courtney and I’ve been teaching ‘to the beat’ Pilates/dance classes for the past 6 years at The Upbeat (aka The Pink Palace) in Bondi Beach. With my recent move to Byron Bay, I’m lucky enough to be instructing at Strong and Heat Pilates.
Now, I am so excited to announce that I will be bringing The Upbeat Signature classes to the Shire!
If you want to have the best time ever during a good old sweat sesh, then this is not one to miss!
This is Upbeat’s signature class - a perfect mix of abs, legs and booty toning work, plus dance-inspired cardio (its kept simple and athletic, so zero dance experience required, it's just a fun sweat!). The flow of this beat-driven workout is warm up, toning, cardio, toning, cardio, cool down. The upbeat cardio bursts will really push your limits and every crunch, hip raise and star jump is set to the beat, so you really lose yourself in the music and the happy hormones flows freely! I promise, you are going to LOVE this session as much as I do (totally my fave!) because really, what more could you want from your workout than abs, booty, cardio, fun tunes and a little bit of a heart rate pushing boogie!
Music style: Chill house, pop and upbeat house/remixes
Intensity: Various - from moderate intensity, low impact toning sets to sweaty cardio highs!
What to bring: Your water bottle, sweat towel, sneakers and good vibes.
