Event description

Please join us for the launch of The Value of Housing Co-operatives in Australia. This ground-breaking report presents the first data on Australia’s rental housing co-operative sector, showing that its unique requirement for tenant-members’ participation in their own housing leads to not only housing stability and affordability, but also skills development, empowerment, agency, and other outcomes.

The launch will bring government, academics, housing providers, and co-operative tenant-members together to discuss the report’s findings and their implications for a diversified and equitable housing system. We hope you can be part of this important conversation.

Keynote report respondent: Rebecca Pinkstone, CEO, Homes NSW

Project findings: Professor Louise Crabtree-Hayes and Associate Professor Neil Perry
