  1. Poemambulism (Last Tram to Scotland)- Mar Bucknall: Sunday 6 April 2.00 – 4.00pm ticket

    Perth Poemambulism in association with Belligerent Bunting and the Victoria Park Poetry Group present: The Last Tram to Scotland. Join us for a poetry, history and architecture walk down part of the old tram route through Victoria Park Meet Mar in Memorial Gardens on the corner of Harvey Street and Albany Highway. The walk will follow the old tram route down Albany Highway to the Balmoral Hotel. Wear comfortable shoes and a hat and bring a water bottle. The walk is fully wheelchair accessible and will not be strenuous, accommodating all fitness levels. If you have any special disability needs, please contact us beforehand and we will do our best to accommodate you. The walk will include poetry readings, writing and a substantial break for coffee and nibbles (maybe bring a keep cup). Note: There are buses back to the starting point and on to the city, or Armadale, leaving from near The Balmoral at about 4.45.
