This clinic is for girls aged 8-13 who are beginner, intermediate to advanced riders. We also welcome trans and gender diverse individuals who may feel more comfortable in an all-female group. Led by a female instructor, groups are kept small for more one-one-one tuition and tailored training and split into smaller groups according to level and age.

The session will involve:

bike set up
body positioning
line selection
cornering
riding technical uphill
braking
riding strategically
gear selection
riding etiquette
bike safety
Intro to jumping (for those who wish to give it a go)

Location is Cringila Hills MTB Park in Wollongong. Cringila is the perfect venue to learn new skills, improve existing skills, and really practice what you've learned. Everything is close which maximises your practice, instead of wasting time pushing up long tracks. Cringila has a pump track which is perfect for working on body position, balance, pedalling, and looking where you want to go. 2km single track loop with tight switchbacks - perfect for cornering, gear selection, braking, etc. It's also loads of fun and an opportunity to meet others!
