The Village Walks Melbourne
Description
Parenting is equal parts magic and mayhem. ‘The Village Walks’ are about bringing new and expectant parents - and their village - together to connect, move and support each other through the early days of raising a tiny human. Because the best kind of support doesn’t just offer to help. It shows up and walks beside you.
Join us on Sunday August 30 from 9am - 11am at The Terrace in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne for a relaxed morning designed for new and expectant parents.
Come with your village, or meet one along the way - either way, there’s a spot for you.
Think good coffee, tasty bites, plenty of chats with other parents and a chill space to connect with people navigating the same early days of parenthood.
We’ll also be joined by Jayde Couldwell and Sophie Pearce from the Beyond the Bump podcast for a fun Q&A about the realities of early parenthood - the good bits, the messy bits and everything in between.
There’ll be food, drinks, good company and a few goodies to take home, because we know the little extras never hurt.
Around 100,000 Australians experience perinatal depression and anxiety each year, and sometimes the best kind of support is simply being around people who get it. The Village Walks are about creating space for exactly that.
