The Voice Within – A Musical Evening

Daljeet Kaur takes centre stage in The Voice Within, an intimate and captivating musical evening celebrating her distinctive voice and deep connection with Indian music. Known for her expressive singing and ability to bring emotion, tradition and contemporary sensibilities together, Daljeet will present a special musical experience that explores the many colours of the Indian musical tradition.

Joining her is Takadimi, Auckland’s premium Indian and Jazz Fusion Band, bringing together Indian classical influences, jazz, improvisation and contemporary global sounds. Their dynamic approach creates a unique musical dialogue between traditions and genres.

The evening will also feature iconic saxophonist Nathan Haines, alongside a selection of talented guest artists, adding further depth and creative energy to the performance.

Presented by Naad Charitable Trust, The Voice Within is a celebration of music, diversity and artistic collaboration—bringing together established and emerging artists for a memorable evening in Papatoetoe.
