Digital Frontlines: Defending Healthcare from Cyber Threats

The Waiting Room Sessions brings together decision-makers across healthcare and technology to explore the issues shaping the future of care.

Each session features short, high-impact lightning talks from people working at the leading edge of change - followed by space to connect, challenge ideas, and build new partnerships.

For our March edition, we turn our focus to the digital frontlines of healthcare.

From patient records to clinical systems and connected devices, healthcare organisations rely on technology every minute of every day. But with that dependence comes exposure. Cyber threats are increasing in frequency, sophistication, and impact - and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Cyber security is no longer just an IT issue. It’s a leadership issue. A governance issue. A patient safety issue.

Join us as we explore how healthcare organisations can strengthen resilience, manage digital risk, and defend the systems their communities rely on.

This session is proudly supported by HiNZ and Collaborative Aotearoa, bringing together expertise from across the digital health ecosystem.
