You’re officially invited to get on ‘The Waitlist’. Byron's newest comedy night hosted by Kate Payne with headliner Matty B.

A night of laughs, over sharing and story telling with some familiar and some new local comedians. Our event will kick off at a secret location in the Byron Industrial Estate on Thursday April 18th, doors open 6:30pm. The event is BYOB and drinks are available for purchase with your ticket in advance, so please bring any food or drinks your heart desires. Tickets are $20 + BF upon ticket purchase, location will be emailed, minimal tickets will be available at the door for $25 for any last minute friends.

Kate Payne (MC)

Kate Payne is a stand up comedian living and laughing out of the northern rivers. Kate grew up in the United States and cut her teeth in comedy in New York City where she performed stand up with the likes of cult icon Janeane Garofalo, MTV’s Theo Von, and The Tonight Show’s Jessica Kirson among others. Kate has a background in improvisational comedy studying for four years at the Upright Citizens Brigade after earning a prestigious scholarship to study and perform. Today Kate enjoys herself by performing all over Queensland and NSW, and has her own breakfast morning show on Bay FM 99.9, Monday Funday.

Matty B (HEADLINER)

Matty B, a Newcastle-bred comic who has been doing stand-up for more than a decade and has performed his shows at Sydney Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and across Australia.
