The Weight We Wear
Event description
The Weight We Wear is a dance-theatre performance that moves through the invisible, the tender, the heavy, the human.
This work gives shape to inner worlds we often hide - stories of anxiety, isolation, resilience, and hope.
Performed by Micaela Valerio and Maria Florencia Giuliani, with music produced by Chucho Bruno, and inspired by stories and experiences shared anonymously by our local community.
Arrive early to catch the soulful sounds of Chucho Bruno live, then linger for a powerful awareness talk and a vibrant art exhibition featuring local talent.
This is an alcohol-free event to support an intentional, grounded atmosphere.
This event explores themes of mental health, including anxiety, depression, and emotional struggle. We encourage you to take care of yourself in any way you need throughout the event.
DOORS OPEN AT 6 PM.
DOORS CLOSE AT 6.45 WHEN THE PERFORMANCE BEGINS.
