The Welcome Choir

Sing shoulder to shoulder with your besties, your family and the postman!

The Welcome Choir is a drop in choir with no auditions and no need to read music. Taught and supported by professional singers and musicians by ear. Each month will be a brand-new song from different genres and decades.

The Welcome Choir is a safe, friendly, all genders, all ages singing group of all singing abilities. Focusing on having a joyful and uplifting experience singing pop songs from many decades of great music together in beautiful harmony. Coming to sing with us is a great way to make new friends. Express yourself authentically and step out of (or into) your comfort zone.

At the start of each session, you will be led through fun vocal warmups and exercises to get those vocals working perfectly. Lead by the talented, experienced and professional singer, Bek Jensen. Then the magic really happens when harmonies are made, goosebumps are raised and the feeling of achievement with each other sets in.

Whether you're a shower singer, a car singer, a karaoke singer, a professional singer or you've never sung around anyone else. The Welcome Choir is here to hold a safe space for you to let yourself go and enjoy the freedom of singing.

This is an all ages event (Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult) in a fully accessible venue.
