The what, why, and how of school-university partnerships (online book launch)
Description
Dr Corinne A. Green and Professor Michelle J. Eady invite you to join this celebration for their recently published edited book: Creating, Sustaining, and Enhancing Purposeful School-University Partnerships: Building Connections Across Diverse Educational Systems.
We will discuss school-university partnerships – their messiness, their struggles, and their triumphs – and show how these meaningful connections can be transformative for all involved in teaching and learning. We will be joined by chapter authors to explore the life cycles and phases of school-university partnerships, the factors that enable and constrain them, and the effects they have on those involved.
Together, we will explore what, why, and how schools and universities collaborate to develop quality teachers for now and for the future.
Note that there are three repeated sessions for this event to accommodate international audiences.
Session 1: afternoon/evening in North America and South America, morning in Australia and New Zealand
Session 2: morning in Asia, lunchtime in Australia, afternoon in New Zealand
Session 3: late morning in Europe and Africa, afternoon in Asia, evening in Australia
