The Whirling Eddys at No8 Distillery

The Whirling Eddys is a band of some of New Zealand’s finest musicians dedicated to the proposition that any song worth playing is worth swinging and sweating to. The 'Eddys' have been performing since 1994, mainly around their hometown of Dunedin. They have a very wide ranging repertoire, specialising in classic blues, soul, rock and popular song from the fifties through to the seventies, together with crafted originals. Groove and feel is king. They all sing, and on occasion, holler. They are an excellent party band. A high old time is assured. The Eddys are currently working on an album of original tunes.

Terry Ebeling on guitar, harmonica and vocals. John Dodd on bass and vocals. Doug Wright plays keyboards, and vocals. Steve Hudson on drums and vocals.
