The Wisdom of Trees
Description
From ancient to modern times, trees have nourished both mind and body – whether through their place in cultural and spiritual cosmologies or more recent practices such as 'forest bathing'. Trees can bring great meaning and wellness to our lives. Join ecotherapist Sarah Poppy and landworker Ben, custodians of a remarkable piece of land in the Chew Valley, home to beautiful trees and a sublime waterfall. Together, they’ll guide a group wellness walk, offering time to connect with trees through both group and solo practices, alongside stories of the land and the activity there.
This will be a guided wellness walk through woodlands, stopping at particular trees and includes individual and group wellness practices. 90 minute session in total. There will be an opportunity for a sauna and a waterfall bathe afterwards (paid event, 90 additional minutes, contact event organisers for details)
