Water is a fundamental force of life. Cultures around the world know this and celebrate this. One such culture is the Icelandic belief that waterfalls symbolize wisdom and that the bigger the waterfall, the more wisdom it holds. If you’ve ever sat near rapids, or under a waterfall for an extended period of time you know this to be true.

We won’t find any falls with the size and wisdom of Gulfoss (the largest waterfall in Iceland), however, wisdom is more about perspective, than size. In New Jersey’s side of the Delaware Water Gap you will find perspective is varied and abundant.
