Mindful Meditation Day Retreat - Governors Bay
Sunday, February 16th , 10am - 4.30pm
Truth dwells in stillness. Wisdom, which is true knowing or insight, arises when we allow ourselves to sit in and as the stillness itself. Mindful meditation is the process of welcoming ourselves fully into this state of stillness or pure Being, which is Presence Itself.
During our day together we will engage in a range of movement, sound and meditation practices which act as doorways into stillness. This enables us to discover the wisdom within, which sits at the very heart of all beings and paradoxically is that in which all beings are ultimately held.
The day will be facilitated by Neave Ross-Wallace and she welcomes everyone from beginners through to seasoned practitioners to come and share this day of practice and discovery in community together. Please note that the retreat is not suitable for anyone receiving intensive psychiatric or mental health care.
You are welcome to arrive anytime after 9.30am for a 10am start. We finish at approximately 4.30pm.
Please bring: Your lunch (most important) and a yoga mat or blanket to lie on. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in.
