The Wise Within - Exploring Open Floor
Event description
There is great wisdom in the millions of years of evolution that have shaped and formed your unique body - an intelligence that has created a living system with the capacity to move, feel, think, create, communicate and perceive itself doing all of these things. Our bodies are connected into, created from and part of this larger intelligence that has led you here, now - to be born into a human body on this planet at this time.
By bringing the light of awareness and the heart of compassion to our experience as it is lived through the body we learn, grow and evolve. Open Floor is a pathway to enriching and strengthening our relationship with our embodied intelligence - our body - this companion, this constant friend - the living interface through which we experience life.
This series is an invitation to draw deeply from the well of wisdom within, as we explore what moves us, what shapes us, and how we relate to our experiences to bring more compassion and awareness into our world - to evolve together.
We will be exploring primarily through movement, with opportunities for drawing and journalling as creative tools for expansion and integration. Our time together will also include mindfulness, meditation, poetry and music.
These sessions are designed to be both a personal journey and a shared experience held within the sacred circle of our group enquiry.
No prior movement experience required
