The Women's Shed Hills Shire was born in 2018. What a happy journey! It was a new concept when we started, and no women’s shed existed in the community.
So far, we have conducted 240 weekly sessions; we supported, nurtured and allowed women to prosper with a friendship network.
FIVE YEARS IN EXISTENCE IS A PROUD ACHIEVEMENT!
It is time for A celebration.
In 2022, We started an annual retreat for 10 – 15 women. The retreat is designed to benefit women who experienced trauma and financial disadvantage. The planning is underway for the September 2023 retreat.
The empowerment that emanates from the Women’s Shed is truly inspiring.
