Join us for The Women's Walk

Would you like to get out into the fresh air and take a walk with some like-minded ladies?
Mental Health Week WA starts on Monday 7th October and Sarah Ford of the Sarah Ford Foundation, has proudly partnered with the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale to bring an all ladies walking group activity to Byford, to boost your mood and to help you to interact with other ladies in the Byford Community.

Staring at Dome Cafe Byford, Sarah is going to take a gentle walk along South Western Highway which will last around 2km.
If you are starting out and this is a little too much for you, no worries, do what you can do, and we will meet you on the way back.

Finishing at Dome Byford, we will then head on in and enjoy a coffee and some social connection.

How good does that sound?

Sarah and the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale care about the physical and mental health of the ladies of the Byford community and it's surrounding suburbs, and it is well established by research that exercise is great for mental health - particularly in the natural environment.
Enjoying a coffee together after means making connections and allowing some self-care time for you.

So why not join us, as we walk our way to better mental and physical health*

This event is free, all you will need is appropriate clothing and footwear, sunscreen, water and if you wish to stay for coffee - bring some gold coins.
